Thanks to its great durability and outstandig features, this all-in-one press-box has become a highly valued tool for professionals covering events all around the world. ALTAIR RP-240 was designed not only to fulfill the huge demand of distributed audio signals in press and multimedia events, but also to guarantee the maximum audio quality of these signals.

“RP-240” press box consists of:

1 x DA-410 Distribution unit, 1 x DA-240, 1 x MC-240 multicore wiring (connects DA-410 to DA-240) and 1 x FC-240 tailored flight-case

This system can as well be ordered to be installed permanently in a rack. In this case of course a flight-case is not necessary and internal wiring will be adapted by our personnel to the right length.

The top patch allows direct input and output XLR connections. Each stereo input pair can be split into 2 separate mono inputs. The 40 XLR outputs incorporate full range attenuators in order to convert line level signals into mic level ones. These outputs are grouped in 10 blocks of 4 outputs (10 columns, seen when looking at the patch). Each one of these blocks incorporates an individual A/B input selection switch, individual speaker monitoring activation and level adjustment (all these parameters are adjusted using the controls located on the front panel).

All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced and can be optionally equipped with input and output transformers. Two multigender (combo) patches are included to assist in difficult interconnections.

-> RP-220 PRESS-BOX

The RP-220 is designed for portable applications where up to 20 audio outputs with XLR connector are required. The RP-220 consists of a practical flight-case of 4 rack units (front and rear opening) in which the active unit DA-410 and a passive patch panel with all the necessary connections to the active unit are contained.
The device is ready for life on the road and is extremely easy to use.

All connectors on both the DA-410 and the patch panel are XLR Neutrik, and the system has 4 mono inputs and 20 mono outputs with volume control grouped by output pairs.

The DA-410 active unit also includes loudspeakers and headphone connector for monitoring the input and output signals of the active unit.

The DA-410 active unit also allows the optional installation (sold separately) of input and/or output transformers at the necessary connection points.

RP-220 / MAIN FEATURES

RP-20 & RP-220: OPTIONS

TDA-O: Output Transformer. Each transformer drives two outputs. Maximum: 20 units.

TDA-I: Input Transformer. Each transformer drives one input.
