To optimize space, all audio connections are made through PHOENIX (TM) type terminal blocks.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u00abAS\u00bb\u00a0Audio Selectors\u00a0were designed\u00a0under broadcasting specifications,\u00a0with a removable front panel unit that allows separate installation\u00a0of the main unit and the front panel for a more convenient use.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Volume and Balance controls by rotary encoder and position indicators, allow precise and repeatable adjustments\u00a0and other\u00a0actions such\u00a0as individual input TRIM and instant memory recall after starting the unit.<\/p>\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_143\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-143\" style=\"width: 611px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-143\" src=\"http:\/\/proaudio.altairaudio.com\/wp-content\/media\/2024\/10\/AS161-801-fdo-Bco.jpg\" alt=\"AS161 - 801 fdo Bco\" width=\"611\" height=\"139\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-143\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">AS-161 &amp; AS-801<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n<p>Channel selection and MUTE functions are made under a proprietary fade in\/out technique reducing notably all type of switching artefacts in order to obtain a clean channel transition or a progressive muting.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The selectors incorporates a selectable automatic AUTO selection mode.
